Many of us have become aware of the existence of the Little Men in our woods and countrysides. There have even been television shows filmed about their elusive and exciting origins, and some scientists have even tracked their movements back to the fossil record. Is Bigfoot real? And are all of these accounts just plain urban legend or is there some truth to it all? Let’s take a closer look at this “myths” about these creatures.

The first point that needs to be addressed is the actual facts surrounding Bigfoot. Skeptic or not, many people still consider the reports of sightings and encounters over fifty years old to be authentic. However, modern day scientists are beginning to doubt the veracity of such claims due to the lack of solid evidence. Still, there are many cases where the alleged witness is convinced that he or she saw something or heard a strange noise in the woods decades ago. In many cases, the witnesses are those who were closest to the incident and had the most accurate descriptions of what they saw and heard.

Is Bigfoot real? Skeptics argue that we simply don’t know and that we haven’t found concrete proof. There are many theories on what it might be, but none of them have been proven yet. With that being said, however, there are still some who believe it is.

In South America, there have been reports of hairy creatures that are similar to Bigfoot. While many of those claims turn out to be false, there are still those who swear by the stories of the “man in the suits”. Some are just plain tales told by desperate individuals who need some type of validation for their stories of danger. There are others, however, who have photographs and video of the alleged encounter.

One of the biggest reasons people don’t believe the Little Men is that they are easily scared. Something so mysterious and shadowy has to be a danger, right? But is that really the case? These creatures aren’t vicious and dangerous. They are simply elusive and we are not sure what causes them to move and how they get into peoples’ houses.

The next time you hear noises outside, listen very carefully. Those noises may be the Little Men knocking at your door. Keep in mind though that they are perfectly harmless and will not harm you or any person. They are also not harmful to anything else in the world either, as they are not carnivorous nor invasive in any way.
